We drifted through some sweet spots, casting to feeding lanes and likely holding areas, but the fish seemed to have other plans today. </p><p>Still, the time on the river was incredibly relaxing. The partly cloudy skies kept things comfortable, and we got to take in the beautiful Ozark scenery at a leisurely pace. We swapped stories, talked tactics, and just enjoyed being out on the water together. That's what these types of trips are all about—the experience, not just the catches.
